ATSC 3.0 Broadcast Gateway


ATSC 3.0 Broadcast Gateway (ATS1500) supports the ATSC 3.0 standard for UHD and HD broadcasting. It generates the ATSC 3.0 signal information by setting the user defined transmission parameters. ATS1500 receives one or more IP stream data from Encoder, Multiplexer and Signaling server. It generates STL-TP with L1 and L2 signals suitable for ATSC 3.0 Exciter and sends the signals to Exciter. ATS1500 supports Multi sub-frame and Multi PLP (TDM/FDM/LDM) functions so that users can use them to configure a variety types of broadcasting environment. ATS1500 is significant to accomplish SFN for ATSC 3.0 by using an external clock (GPS, PTP, etc.). It corrects transmission errors supporting STL-TP ECC (SMPTE 2022-1).
